In simile I am showing the reader a cross section so to speak of us; our physical outer shell, the emotional substance of that shell, the area of our mind's awareness of ourselves and, of course, the place where our consciousness resides.
I then begin to populate this cross section with some home made icons that are used to represent some of our basic thinking functions
